Cook raw fish

 To cook fish with kanchala, you can follow the following ingredients and methods.




 Materials


 Fish (Rui or any fish) - 500 gms


 Banana - 2 (cut into pieces)


 Chopped onion - 1 cup


 Garlic paste - 1 tsp


 Ginger paste - 1 tsp


 Tomato - 1 (cut into pieces)


 Turmeric powder - 1 tsp


 Salt - as per taste


 Dry chili powder - half teaspoon


 Cumin powder - half teaspoon


 Coriander powder - half teaspoon


 Green chillies – 2-3 (sliced)


 Oil - like quantity


 Coriander leaves – for garnishing



 the method


 1. First marinate the fish with salt and turmeric.



 2. Heat oil in a pan and fry the marinated fish.



 3. Add a little more oil to the pan and fry the chopped onions, ginger-garlic batter and tomatoes.



 4. After mixing the masalas, grind the masala with turmeric powder, dry chili powder, cumin powder and coriander powder.



 5. Stir in the grated masala with the banana pieces.



 6. Cover with water as needed and cook for 10-12 minutes so that the chickpeas are cooked.



 7. Once the chickpeas are cooked, add the fried fish and cook for 5-7 minutes.



 8. When the broth is a little thick, spread the green chillies and coriander leaves.




 Serve with hot rice and fish with delicious pickles.
